Gajrela Recipe/ Gajar Kheer/ Carrot Kheer Recipe

Hope you all are doing great ! Now the winter season is going on & so time to make new dishes to welcome winter 😊!Gajrela or Gajar Kheer is an instant sweet dish to make. It is very easy and delicious dish.

INGREDIENTS-

* Carrot/Gajar- 500 gm

* Full cream Milk- 1 litre

* Sugar- 200 gm

* Mawa/ Khoya- 100 gm

* Cashews- 10-12

* Almonds- 6-7

* Pistachio/Pista- 5-6

* Green Cardamom- 4-5

METHOD-

* Peel off and wash all carrots. Grate with the help of grater. Keep aside.

* Take a nonstick kadahi and boil milk. Mix grated carrots and stir it. Let it cook on medium flame for 8-10 minutes till carrots cooked and milk thickened. 

* Add mawa (it’s optional) , sugar and dry fruits. Let it cook for 4-5 minutes more. Turn off the flame and mix cardamom powder.

Your tasty carrot Kheer is ready to serve.
