Wishing all of you a very Happy Diwali. Diwali ke baat ho aur sweets ki nahi ho, It will never happen! So here is a really easy and tasty sweet recipe which you can easily make on your own.

Grated carrot- 1 cup
Grated coconut – 1 cup
Sugar- 1 cup
Unsalted butter/ghee- 3 tbs
Green cardamom powder- 1 tsp
Watermelon seeds- 2tbs
1. Take a nonstick kadahi or pan, pour half of butter/ghee. Add grated coconut and grated carrot. Stir continuously for at least 8-10 minutes.
2. Now add sugar and remaining butter /ghee . Stir until sugar melts and butter/ghee separates in the pan .Now add powdered cardamom powder and half of melon seeds. Mix well.
3. Now transfer the mixture in a greased tray and flatten it smoothly. Add remaining melon seeds and press it well. Let it cool down .
4. After cooling,cut using a sharp knife and make squares.

P. S. – Roast coconut and carrot until a good aroma starts coming. It will gave a very nice taste to the sweet.
